So I developed a 35mm film roll that was taken in September 2016.The shots were taken in Oslo.
Where is OSLO?
In case if you are wondering. Oslo is a city in Norway. A very beautiful city that have lots of nice buildings and museums. I did not get to explore it as much as i wanted to. But i did enjoy my short stay over there.
What film did i use?
I used the lomography 400 iso film. It was just to reuse the current films that i still have in stock.
Which film camera did i use?
At this point of time i only have my olympus XA with me. Which is a great companion for the size and weight.
One of the reason i want to be here is to check out the mountains and waters
If im not wrong this is to pay tribute to the people involved during word war.
I love this picture because of the position of the flag.
I really like their uniform. Looking sharp!
Is this one of their retired naval ships?
The road looks like there’s giant pieces of paper on the ground.
I do wonder what the markings on the road means. The circles especially.
Im not sure what this is. Photo is a little blur.Very bright greens in the background.
The main subject is the little white birdy.
This whole mix of cars and boats is really cool
This is another one of my favourites. The boat on the left, the details of the wooden parts.Pretty sharp to me.
If i remember correctly, this is the city hall area. They have nice statues around the city. Wanted the lady in black to be in the middle. Got what i wanted but i think if it is without the second person it would be nicer.
I saw this chrome looking diver and of course i knew it is worthy to be captured.Against the off white colour of the boat it does look good.
The Nobel peace centre. I did not go in but pretty nice to see this place in person.
Previously i shared this photo but on digital. Now is the the one on film.
It was about to rain if im not wrong. The waters looks good in this picture.
I still have a few rolls left from Oslo that i have yet to develop. I did not take any transport from my hostel to all these places. I walked around this area and walking is one of the best ways to explore a city, it is very tiring but it is really nice as you get to slowly take your time. I am glad that the roll turns out fine. It is grainy due to the film iso speed.
